Currently we are looking for a Lead UI Designer for our Minsk office to make our team even stronger.
The ideal candidate will be a design superstar with 6+ years of experience in a digital strategy role with a strong creative background at a digital agency as well as 2+ years of management, thought leadership and mentoring experience in an interactive agency environment. Strong visual design, interaction design and typographical knowledge are required, as well as knowledge of the content strategy and development, technology and user experience integration and functionality. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills are a must, along with an enthusiasm to be ahead of the ever-evolving digital design arena in order to achieve creative excellence.
Deliver innovative strategic creative solutions and participate in client services and creative production to maintain and develop client relationships;
Work with internal and external teams on multiple projects simultaneously, think and respond quickly to others, while maintaining strict attention to detail and organization;
Quickly learn and absorb clients’ objectives and competitive analysis landscape;
Help to recruit, manage, support, groom, inspire, and lead design team to creative solutions that fulfill client objectives;
Establish direction and vision which mobilizes the creative team(s) to meet clearly defined goals;
Mentor and lead design staff and be available to constructively critique outgoing work to maintain consistent creative quality and award winning work;
Partner and collaborate with the experience design team to design and build exceptional consumer and user experience;
Help in the continued effort to position EPAM Empathy Lab as a cutting-edge and innovative creative leader in the industry through attention getting stories and blog posts, creative awards and speaker engagements;
Be able to present and sell complex ideas and concepts to C-level stakeholders and be flexible to travel internationally.
2+ years in a creative / design leadership role within an interactive agency;
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams of designers, production specialists and writers to deliver world class digital creative excellence;
Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution;
Ability to work with multiple teams agency-wide;
Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the web;
Well-developed communication skills including ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale for client and team;
Passion for design and creative problem solving;
Result- and detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines;
