What You’ll Do

  • Lead all aspects of US/CA HR Operations components including, Payroll, Benefits, Retirement, HRIS, and Compliance
  • Oversee People Operations team members, setting objectives and goals for the team and tracking progress
  • Budgetary oversight of People Operations and Fringe Benefits – reviewing, approving, and modifying as needed
  • Monitor and improve efficiency of the employee service model to respond to employee inquiries
  • Ensure policies and procedures are compliant both internally and externally; work with Legal to design and implement HR policies
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management of company’s HR policies and regulations
  • Serve as subject matter expert on local, state and federal and country employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with People Program leaders to ensure alignment in areas of focus and communications
  • Ultimately ensure People Operations operates efficiently and aligns with our business objectives


  • Master’s degree in HR Management or a relevant field preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in HR Operations
  • Experience managing a team of 5+ direct reports
  • Global or IT organizational experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience as an HR Operations leader or a similar role
  • Experience in management of 401k and benefits programs
  • Experience in leading US and CA Payroll and tax compliance
  • Excellent decision-making and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional team management and organizational skills
  • Ability to take quick decisions while working in a very fast-paced environment
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel skills at least at intermediate level) and Human Resources Information Systems
  • Ability to learn the new tools quickly and leverage the benefits of the software to automate HR operations
  • Broad experience with human resources practices and disciplines with a focus on developing, leading, and/or managing programs and operations
  • Previous experience developing and maintaining relationships virtually. Strong focus on building collaborative relationships that lead to successful execution of defined goals
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with total rewards and compensation is a plus
