Looking for a Director of Delivery Management for one of EPAM largest clients from the Financial Services area.

What You’ll Do

  • Program Area ownership for new areas (Ability to independently run sub-program of approx. ~150 team members (offshore/onshore) with leadership structure)
  • Deepen EPAM understanding of customer business drivers/needs, identify EPAM solution opportunities, and drive proposals
  • Strong/Close partnership with principal program manager and leadership team on all areas of overall program health
  • Executive Customer stakeholder co-management

What You Have

  • Hands-on Delivery Management and Program Management knowledge and experience:
    • Strong ability to contribute to improvements and strategies
    • Strong ability to understand and drive resolution of issues at potentially multiple levels: Program, Director, Site, Team
    • Strong ability to project manage key elements: Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Resources, Communications, Risk, Integration
    • Deep experience with Software Development Lifecycle & developing team level development methodology
    • Deep understanding of all areas of SDLC: Architecture, requirements, development, testing
    • Able to kick off onboarding, knowledge transfer activities
    • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies – scrum, Kanban, cadence
  • Experience managing a large and complex program across multiple global locations:
    • Strong ability to effectively manage all program health areas from Senior Management stakeholders (both customer and EPAM) to individual team focus
    • Strong ability to identify and drive the evolution of the program in all key initiatives (e.g. leadership, communications, improvements, etc.)
    • Strong ability to simultaneously address the numerous varieties of activities related to ensuring the health of the program (customer satisfaction, KPIs/SLAs, teams motivation, communications, etc.)
    • Strong ability to contribute to delivery/program strategy through working with Account Managers and Delivery Managers
    • 5+ years in establishing, running, and evolving a governance process
    • 10+ years of experience in capturing and reporting on portfolio/program roadmap key milestones, dependencies, risks
  • Commercial model experience – enough to contribute:
    • Experience with commercial models: T&M, FQP, Managed Service, other
    • Experience understanding, reviewing, contributing to Statement of Work
  • Financial Services domain knowledge:
    • In-depth understanding of the financial business needs from perspective of end-users and company product offerings
  • Technical understanding of Application Development as related to Financial Service applications:
    • Technical understanding of software solutions for financial service – big picture and how it is put together by components
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills:
    • 10+ years’ experience with creating/managing strong relationships with executive/senior stakeholders (customer, internal)
    • Strong ability to foster trust and build relationships
    • Strong ability to facilitate collaboration between technical and product teams
    • Strong ability to negotiate, pitch, and sell ideas and solutions
