Test Automation Engineer

Currently we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for our Amsterdam office to make the team even stronger.


  • Work Closely with UNIX systems, not only CentOS:
    • Install a service, update a service;
    • Understanding of users and permissions;
    • Run Bash commands, etc.
  • Use of Elasticsearch and Kibana:
    • Create dashboards in Kibana;
    • Execute requests to Elasticsearch and parse the data (novice level).
  • Docker service:
    • Be able to install and configure;
    • Be able to build, rebuild an image;
    • Run automated tests from Docker containers.
  • Jenkins:
    • Create and maintain jobs.
  • Python skills:
    • Middle level is enough.
  • Robot Framework:
    • Novice level.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject;
  • Fluent spoken and written English – ideally other European languages;
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting test Automation Frameworks and tools;
  • Experience in at least one of ReadyAPI, Robot Framework, JMeter, Selenium or other;
  • Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python, Groovy);
  • Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP);
  • Working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments;
  • Experience in virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box);
  • Effective executive level written, verbal and presentation & communication skills;
  • Responsibility & feeling of being accountable for own and team actions;
  • Strong team player;
  • Self-starter;
  • Ability to create an esprit de corps within his/her teams and ability to constant encourage to teamwork;
  • Confident and a credible influencer, able to command respect;
  • Self-disciplined and able to enforce discipline within his/her teams in terms of processes and work ethics;
