Currently we are looking for a DevOps Solution Architect for our Hyderabad office to make the team even stronger.


  • Lead, synthesize, and socialize the design, development, and deployment of solutions for one of the following domain areas: Cloud (Azure), Application, Data or Security;
  • Create and maintain domain (solution) specific architectural vision, standards and constraints and develop technology roadmaps to realize; collaborate across business units to architect solutions that drive business and value;
  • Review existing architecture to identify technical debt, design gaps, new opportunities, and create actionable recommendation for enhancements;
  • Produce high quality documentation for business and technical audience;
  • Support leadership with resource planning activities by providing technical insight into upcoming and ongoing project deliverables;
  • Represent the domain-specific team during broad strategic discussions, driving discussions with senior management and other architects regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation;
  • Collaborate with production support and run services team to resolve near-term domain-specific architectural issues and to remove architectural design debt;
  • Enforce a collaborative agile environment and technology best practices, bringing together engineering and operations effort to create enterprise solutions that support high availability, maintainability and automation, with reduced effort and costs;
  • Provide development specific financial and technological analysis to IT leadership across teams to break down barriers and foster an understanding of Azure services and architecture standards. Ensure that solution can be maintained and extended in the long-term;
  • Manage and interface with third party vendor and internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive domain solutions. Review and recommend selection of third-party software platforms as needed;
  • Understand current and emerging threats specific to the domain, designing architecture to mitigate these threats where possible;
  • Mentor engineers or other technology peers in best practices associated with domain design;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned;
  • Lead consultancy engagements for organizations across various industries, with a wide range of technologies involved and communicate EPAM's competitive advantage to customers in a compelling articulate manner in speech, writing and formal presentation;
  • Develop business cases involving complex ROI/TCO/Business benefit analysis, and communicate them clearly to both business and technical audience;
  • Drive innovation and provide industry thought leadership.


  • Minimum 10 years of experience designing and implementing technology roadmaps and working solutions in the specific domain required, including experience managing delivery for multiple simultaneous complex technology solutions;
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field required. Advanced degree preferred;
  • Deep and broad knowledge of cloud (Azure) service provider capabilities and integration required; knowledge of primary Azure services (Virtual Machines, Active Directory, Automation, Monitor, OMS) required;
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting and configuration management required; and strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment required;
  • Working knowledge of IT compliance and risk management requirements (HIPAA, SOX, PCI, etc.);
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft infrastructure and solution stacks operating in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid hosting environments required;
  • Knowledge of modern technology service architectural hosting, security, and risk management concerns such as IAM, access control, monitoring, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, and containers required;
  • In-depth business analysis and communication skills, as well as ability to articulate precisely both technical and business requirements;
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and high commercial awareness. Willing to identify and strategically drive technology decisions to optimize TCO and decrease time to market;
  • Excellent people management, leadership, problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams in multi-vendor environment;
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills required;
  • Experience interacting with clients in a consultative manner, demonstrating expertise in solution architecture and instilling confidence in EPAM's service offering;
  • Ability to work with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets;
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
