Currently we are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will oversee management and EPAM clients’ relationships. You will be accountable for the overall project delivery, client satisfaction and management of expectations while ensuring that the work is on strategy, on time and within budget. You will be working alongside a globally renowned, award-winning development and technology teams who are passionate about what they do, and how they do it. A Senior Delivery Manager will play a key role building strong business / technology relationships, taking a ‘hands-on’ approach to define and deliver embodying and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive multiple Delivery projects in line with Client expectations with regards to scope, right-staffing, timelines, deliverables. Address risk and issues through concrete action plans;
  • Run multiple delivery streams and clients, to ensure governance at top management level. Take proactive part in governance; serve as a point of escalation for the Client and EPAM top management;
  • Oversee delivery from financial, sourcing, development and business perspectives;
  • Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences;
  • Investigate complex issues of production delivery, run the root cause analysis, establish a solution and push it through required steps necessary in order to deliver;
  • Drive integrated teams to deliver solid technology solutions in support of key client initiatives;
  • Manage a multi-disciplined team of Solution Architects, Technical Analysts, Development Engineers and Quality assurance. Provide active coaching, mentoring and talent development;
  • Participate in new business development and discovery led projects, support the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work;
  • Manage customer expectations and relationship. Manage high-level client relationships, looking for opportunities to up/ cross-sell products and services through relationship management;
  • Delivery against agreed scorecard and key performance indicators of utilization, productivity and quality.

Requirements

  • Expected to have at least 10 years in IT and at least 5+ years in positions of a Project / Program Manager, Solution / Systems / Enterprise Architect; Delivery Manager;
  • Proven experience of managing delivery of an organization of 40-100 FTE and or high business impact engagements of a similar size;
  • Experience managing a complete set of activities related to the project delivery in a company such staffing, client management, delivery and execution;
  • Experience running multiple delivery streams/clients, assuring proper governance on the top management level, driving outcomes, delivering on hard commitments and deadlines;
  • Up-to-date knowledge and application of design and implementation for end-to-end solutions including continuous delivery/deployment;
  • Hands-on experience in technology and software engineering practices with ability to supervise and suggest competitive technical decisions and assure a winning mix of delivery practices applied on the project;
  • Business savvy and able to oversee delivery from financial, sourcing, development and business point of view;
  • Ability to dive deep into complex issues of the production delivery, run the root cause analysis, invent the solution and push it through all steps necessary to deliver;
  • Strong experience working with distributed teams on client side;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills are necessary;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish solid working relationships;
  • Expected to have exceptional organization, leadership and stakeholder management skills;
  • Self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, a quick-thinker, be able to work in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Domain knowledge of Financial Services;
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent business experience preferred;
  • Very good English and German verbal and written language skills.
