Currently we are looking for a Business Analyst for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.
You will be part of IT development at Wealth Management in Zurich. Your team is responsible for the development of a prospect engagement platform, which serves potential clients to learn more about company’s offerings in the different segments. To further complete and enhance the client's experience, the next main building blocks being realized are a conversation stream with chat and video, a content library providing access to research and education material as well as the support of secure document exchange between the prospect and the bank.
You, among other BAs, will be responsible for the requirements elicitation with our business partners, writing the corresponding Software Requirements Specification and delivering the solutions to the production environment. Software design/implementation and quality assurance will be done by your team as well, based on the user stories, use cases, business rules and acceptance criteria you have previously defined.
Understand and challenge our various stakeholders;
Analyze and evaluate the business processes, products and services;
Evaluate high-level requirements in terms of feasibility and efforts (costs / benefit);
Identify the impact on interfacing solutions;
Generate Business Rules / Use Cases and the corresponding Software Requirement Specifications;
Review test cases, support of the testing units in test design and execution;
Support the project manager in BA related topics;
Coordinate and coach the more junior analysts.
Degree in business administration, banking and finance, or economics;
Fundamental business analysis experience (preferably in the financial industry);
Very good analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out);
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies;
Experience in application development in enterprise environments;
Positive attitude and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in banking;
Excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills;
Flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude;
Able to work under pressure, but still act as part of the team;
Known for your can-do attitude when tackling daily tasks;
Strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues in English and ideally also German.
