Responsibilities

  • Support applications;
  • Create deliverables in good quality;
  • Act as a team player;
  • Be self-managed, implement functionality without supervision and test his/her work thoroughly using test cases.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of production software development experience;
  • Proficiency in Java (3+ years) Java Core/Java EE:
    • Reflections understanding;
    • Collections;
    • Multithreading;
    • Abstract classes;
    • Concurrency;
    • Servlets;
    • Filters;
    • JSP;
    • Exceptions (hierarchy, optimization, customization);
    • Enterprise Servlet Filters;
    • Nested, anonymous and inner classes;
    • Serialization.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux;
  • Experience in bug / development tracking systems;
  • Understanding of concepts of software development cycle;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • JUnit experience;
  • Strong ownership and personal responsibility.

Nice to have

  • JQuery experience;
  • Control version system experience (experience with TFS is ideal);
  • JavaScript experience;
  • Experience in dependency manager (IVY is ideal. Maven experience could also work);
  • Web Services definition and consumption. (REST & SOAP);
  • Mockito;
  • Groovy;
  • CSS;
  • SCSS;
  • JDBC.
