Investigate, troubleshoot and fix scale issues identified in QED;
Investigate, troubleshoot and fix production issues escalated by AMS team (performance, data, stability issues);
Consultancy of our client´s product and operations teams on system design and architecture and scalability (during upgrades or new systems setup);
Consultancy of the development teams of SQL optimization and schema changes;
Review and execute DML scripts provided by Development teams;
Engineer will work in the team that does troubleshooting of complex problems in MySQL databases ~90% of the time. No DB development (no DB modeling or stored procedures implementation) or DB administration (no managing DB instances and services) is expected here.
Senior level MySQL Support Engineer is expected on this position;
Strong skills and experience in troubleshooting of performance and data replication issues;
Very strong SQL query optimization skill;
Good English communication skill, ability to take ownership and work independently.
