Currently we are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer for our Kyiv office to make the team even stronger.

The project we are working on is a data creation platform for company’s clients.

Our customer is an American investment management firm. It serves approximately 350 of the largest and most sophisticated global institutional clients including public and corporate pension funds, university endowments, charitable foundations, supranational agencies, sovereign wealth funds, and central banks. By having the deepest possible understanding of the global economy and financial markets, and translating that understanding into great portfolios and strategic partnerships with institutional clients, they've built a distinct track record of success.   • Support Data Delivery Service;
  • Own responsibilities for day-to-day application components maintenance tasks including technical and data issues resolution;
  • Investigate the platform issues as the platform creates data for client;
  • Maintain incoming data from different sources using API: maintain files in various formats, lost data search, corruption investigations, broken files fixing;
  • Develop scripts for issues solving using any convenient language supported by system (Bash, Python, etc.);
  • Participate in building a new team;
  • Support with candidates hiring and interviewing;
  • Work in shifts.


  • Linux command line;
  • Bash or any other scripting language knowledge;
  • Experience in SQL queries writing;
  • Familiarity with Relational Data Bases (MS SQL) and Objects Data Bases (files);
  • At least basic knowledge of Incident Management, SLA/OLA;
  • Problem and change management skills;
  • Troubleshooting skills strong enough to be able to perform L2/L3 investigation and deliver resolutions;
  • API usage experience;
  • Intermediate and higher level of English (B1+), as communication with clients will take place via Jira tickets as well as internal team communication with Polish engineers - the team is distributed between Kyiv and Gdansk.
