We are looking for a technical writer for the Cloud Support Team, with excellent written English and technical background in software construction. The main responsibility is to prepare messages for end users about coming changes in the Cloud Platform (including API deprecation, Legal, Billing and Product changes). Technical background is highly appreciated for the role - our candidate should conceptually understand how software is built and be familiar with terminology.
Manage communication requests with product, legal, technical and other management tiers to ensure accurate and timely delivery;
Create communication plans with product, legal, technical and other management tiers;
Develop / edit communication materials (largely email messages) in conjunction with the communication owner and relevant stakeholders;
Manage required communication and documentation approvals;
Ensure communications have correctly formatted recipient lists or queries, and are peer reviewed when appropriate;
Template and proof email communication requests (HTML / Plain Text);
Work with management and internal development teams to streamline communications tools and processes.
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) and documentation skills;
High attention to detail;
Technical writing experience and/or mass customer communications experience;
Time management skills, ability to liaise and with internal stakeholders and management teams;
Ability to liaise with and understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements;
Ability to effectively present information using a range of verbal and written methodologies;
IT related higher education degree or equivalent experience;
High-level knowledge and understanding of software construction techniques, understanding of web-technologies; databases & SQL; Cloud technologies and related terminology.
