Currently we are looking for an Events Specialist for our Kharkiv office to make the team even stronger.

Are you communicative, open-minded and proactive? Can you create big and small events, prepare conferences and train speakers, engage participants and grow up leaders? Do you possess both excellent analytical skills and restless creative mind with eagerness to learning?

Responsibilities

  • Planning, organizing and conducting of events:
    • Small, middle and large office events;
    • Global events support;
    • Hosting of events: managing logistics questions (documents, swag, coffee-breaks, hall, equipment, announcement, entertainment zones).
  • Managing & development of engineering and social communities:
    • Enrolling, development, support of communities; communication; collecting and providing needed assets; scheduling; integrating with other communities;
    • Working with community core team and speakers and engaging leaders.
  • Information support:
    • Tracking of all events in internal sources (budgets, agenda, scenarios, photos, presentations, etc.);
    • Creating posts in corporate social media;
    • Writing letters with announcements.
  • Organizing of Corporate Social Responsibility events.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in events organization;
  • Strong understanding of how to manage event on different functionality stages;
  • Outgoing personality - to walk into networking events and be comfortable introducing themselves to strangers;
  • Experience in cross-organizational and cross-functional team work with understanding of overarching goals and conflicts of interests;
  • Acquaintance with strategic HR management to apply it within the department;
  • Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written (experience in writing helps);
  • Ability to multitask and process large amounts of data;
  • Brilliant interpersonal and presentation skills, persuasiveness, and ability to professionally navigate in unfamiliar circumstances;
  • Strong capacity to gain general knowledge as well as to learn the new professional tools and techniques on the most efficient level;
  • Goal-oriented team player, which shows courage to speak up and challenge others even when confronted with resistance;
  • Good spoken and written English.
