Currently we are looking for a Senior Business Consultant for our London office to make the team even stronger.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Consultant who will be a critical resource to assess, scope, design, as well as initiate complex managed services solutions including DevOps transformation and Cloud Enablement. This position assumes broad expertise in full stack of technologies, in-depth understanding of key concepts in Cloud, DevOps and ITSM space, analytical mind, technical intuition and passion for engineering.

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will be ultimately responsible for assessment of customer needs, solution designs, architectures and pricing models as part of sales / presales pursuits including creation of RFP response. The successful candidate will develop and present solution proposals, lead solution kick-offs for the most complex delivery efforts.

The role is open from the 27th October and will close on the 24th November 2017.
Salary - £70,000 per annum.


  • Design solution implementation approaches, create estimates, timeline and cost analysis that will lead to successful implementation and program delivery of managed services projects;
  • Build commercials models for long-term output-based engagements, coordinate and integrate overall solution connecting multiple competencies together;
  • Translate business requirements into technical and business capabilities, defining and driving service transition, transformation and automation approaches;
  • Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early and address customer issues during an engagement in cooperation with the Account Manager;
  • Prepare engagement revenue and resource forecasts, timesheets and billing information, weekly/monthly engagement and service level reports;
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, recommending new business models, workflows, or innovative solutions to achieve efficiency improvements, and better user experiences;
  • Create new frameworks and blueprints for EPAM Cloud & DevOps Practice and facilitate their adoption within the company and at customer engagements;
  • Kick off new projects, drive initial discovery phase working with EPAM project management and clients driving prototypes and proof of concepts;
  • Review technical decisions of the projects in flight and guide them towards best technology options.


  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Commerce;
  • Proven expertise in managing complex RFx response preparation end-to-end, including solution design and estimations preparation;
  • Practical experience in modeling and engineering LARGE (multi-year, large app portfolio – 100, 200+ apps, output based, year-over-year optimization, service delivery automation) managed service deals for applications and infrastructure support;
  • Expert in DevOps and automation, ability to facilitate solution design, verify results;
  • Proven experience in the following:
    • Conducting assessments for CI/CD improvement, DevOps Transformation, Cloud Enablement, Application Portfolio Rationalization and Process Improvements. Ability to design relevant documentation and present findings to business and technology leadership;
    • Leading cloud platforms, services offered and billing concepts;
    • Leading and collaborating with culturally diverse and geo-distributed teams. Work experience within Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia).
  • Fluent English and Russian.
