Currently we are looking for a Systems Engineer for our Prague office to make the team even stronger.

The Department is a part of Investment Bank Technology organization and it is responsible for delivering the risk management systems that have enabled Investment Bank (IB) to become a top-tier franchise. While proud to be a best-in-class technology organization, as evidenced by our many industry awards, meeting the priorities over the next 5-10 years requires a shift in approach and engineering our technology platforms. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to work in a distributed DevOps team. A main part of the team is located in Prague. The team performs DevOps function for multiple strategic bank applications targeting credit risks calculation, transformation, storage and reporting. The scope of work is a standard DevOps stack including investigation of issues, troubleshooting, monitoring, automation, Ad Hoc configuration and configuration management, continuous integration and deployment, as well as improvements of currently used processes. Constant tight cooperation with Dev/Test teams, as well as communication with the customer is a regular part of team’s work.


  • Upper-Intermediate + English level (minimum B2 speaking/writing);
  • MS Windows Server (2008, 2012) – advanced knowledge;
  • MS SQL Databases (2008, 2012) - advanced knowledge;
  • Linux (Red Hat preferable, but not mandatory) – novice/intermediate;
  • SQL – intermediate/advanced;
  • Automation/Scripting (PowerShell and/or Python) – intermediate (+real experience in automation via any available means – “automation-oriented mindset”);
  • ITIL – understanding of what it is, how it is used;
  • Real experience in troubleshooting/root cause analysis;
  • Understanding of what is DevOps as well as desire to work as actual DevOps engineer.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with any configuration management/continuous integration/delivery systems;
  • IIS (or other Web Server) – intermediate;
  • Jira (or any similar bug tracking systems) – experience of usage;
  • TeamCity (or other build systems) - experience of usage;
  • Monitoring - experience of configuration/maintenance;
  • XML;
  • Active Directory.
