In 2015 EPAM opened the Czech Republic IT delivery center in Prague, in the iconic City Tower in Pankrac. Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is a growing source of innovation due to the increasing demand for software solutions and services in Central Europe. This new location will enable EPAM to collaborate more closely with clients in the region.
Our client is top-tier bank with headquarter in London. EPAM is providing IT solutions in Risk Management and Reporting fields, which are tailored to the client needs.
Deep integration in client infrastructure provides ability to communicate with client on a daily basis, understand client needs and participate in long-term project, such as Basel III implementation. Huge number of transactions requires solid approach, domain expertise and high performance.
Respond to Business Queries – evaluate queries raised by the business and carry out investigations into data quality, functional specifications and the application code. This role requires significant amount of technical (programming) as well as business (Credit Risk) knowledge. Critical for the role is ability to extract and analyze big arrays of data using SQL (MS SQL Management Studio) and spreadsheets (Excel);
Conduct Impact Analysis – liaise with the IT and business stakeholders and other distributed technology teams to plan, change, test minor changes and implement in production. Implement test batches to meet business or regulatory requirements;
Improve processes and develop automation tools – identify areas and tasks suitable for automation, write scripts and automation tools to remove manual overhead from daily tasks;
Develop and maintain effective communication with our user groups – both within development group, support and Front/Middle office users.
At least 3 years in high-pressure and complex technical environment;
SQL expertise is a must (aggregation function, partitions, etc.). Knowledge of stored procedure is a strong plus;
C++ basic knowledge: major concepts, OOP, ability to write simple programs;
R or any other scripting language knowledge;
Good knowledge of Windows Server platform;
Ability to communicate with business users and clearly state your opinion on the issue;
