We are looking for an Agile Evangelist and Leader to join EPAM in London and drive the company-wide agile transformation strategy through to maturity. This is a Director level role and great opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial company and lead from the front with good opportunities to travel as part of the role.
You will be responsible to set-up and develop Agile competency for Europe, working alongside globally renowned and award-wining design, development and technology teams who are passionate about what they do and how they do it. You will also play a key role building strong business and technology relationships, taking a ‘hands on’ approach to define and deliver a culture of continuous improvement.
Help at a Senior Leadership/Enterprise level on generating options and setting up useful metrics to measure success and trigger the positive behavior as well as influence the culture change;
Act as a trustworthy adviser for different CxO leaders across EPAM in the UK with a potential wider European remit;
Bring consistency to the EPAM’s agile practices and mentor staff in process changes throughout the organisation;
Focus on understanding the core challenges that impedes work flow and will instill techniques to overcome impediments and improve overall value and delivery to our customers;
Develop agile teams, programs, and an agile portfolio to deliver on Enterprise vision and initiatives;
Teach/Mentor/Coach all levels of the organisation on agile principles, practices, roles, artifacts and ceremonies in an agile environment;
Coach Executives and leadership on lean and agile principals and “work management” techniques;
Work with the leadership team to define agile adoption measurements and evaluate the organization on a regular basis;
Develop/identify right-fit curriculum, classes, workshop, sharing events appropriate per audience and lead the company’s agile Community of Practice;
Be a change agent and identify impactful change opportunities towards achieving agility by providing guidance on solutions at the executive level;
Apply a change management mindset and a structured approach to manage areas of sensitivity or resistance;
Continue to learn and implement industry best practices from the agile community, vet and manage outside agile consulting engagements as needed;
Communicate directly and independently with customers and have an ability to design, create, emulate and reinforce agile principles on management and leaders on client's organizations;
Understand, actively influence and enhance technical practices including different IT areas (development, data, infrastructure, etc.).
Solid experience in an Agile Leadership role in a large matrixed organisation;
Notable track record of Agile consulting and Advisory;
Track record of contribution to Agile forums, public speaking, events;
Hands-on experience in Scaled Agile Framework and Spotify. Certification desirable;
Ideally you will come from a Consultancy background with strong appreciation of developing and enhancing client relationships and implementing Agile best practice;
Experience leading a large-scale agile transformation in an enterprise ecosystem;
Adept and working closely with and influencing senior business/technology managers;
Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
