Currently we are looking for a C++ Software Engineer for our Kyiv office to make the team even stronger.
Our client is an Investment Bank who provides large corporate, government and institutional clients with a full spectrum of solutions to their strategic advisory, financing and risk management needs.
As a C++ Software Engineer, you will be building and maintaining components that deliver Fixed Income functionality and content for electronic trading system. These components include real time pricing, instrument static, trade handling and research data. The application architecture is client-server based and consists of a group of C# and C++ services, bound together via a high speed messaging transport.
Maintain and develop the electronic trading platform;
Maintain the highest standards in quality control and production delivery;
Perform 2nd line support as part of the team, be available for regular maintenance (releases, DR tests, power downs etc.).
4+ years of experience in software development;
Knowledge of good OO software design practices;
Solid experience in SQL;
Experience in XML;
Experience in software testing and profiling;
Strong debugging skills;
Working knowledge of Boost framework;
Good communication and technical skills, self-motivated and highly professional;
Nice to have
Experience in messaging application design and protocols;
Front office investment banking experience;
Experience building out electronic trading platforms within financial institutions;
C# and Python experience;
GUI development using MFC.
