Provide support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions and APIs including App Engine, Big Query and Cloud Storage;
Monitor network, server and web applications to ensure high availability - Event Management;
Open, update and close trouble tickets with detailed information relating to trouble reported - Incident Management, Problem Management;
Provide technical assistance and developer support as part of a global 24x7-support organization;
Work closely with Engineers and Product Managers to improve the product and make our customers successful;
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of a wide range of applications and systems - Knowledge Management;
Change requests and incident ticket handling for the remaining Infrastructure Teams - Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management;
Follow notification and escalation procedures;
Follow standards for communications with business involving operational issues.
At least 5 years’ experience as a Developer Engineer or a combination of Networking and Development;
Expert in at least one of the languages: Java, Python, PHP or Go, including UML, Modeling and Design skills;
Expertise and skills to initiate, supervise, design, manage implementation of solutions and processes, coordinate project teams, do service delivery management;
Ability to supervise and train Jr/Mid/Senior/ specialists. Expected to be able to design, deploy, follow, explain and enhance defined ITIL/ITSM processes in his team as well as linked teams;
Ability to read and understand code and ability to write code samples to reproduce customer issues;
Ability to read and understand project and requirement documentation; ability to create high-quality design, technical and project documentation including documentation of his/her code;
Capable to write high-quality non-functional requirement specifications and audit documentation;
Ability to provide tactical vision. Expected to be self-managing, take technical responsibility for a subsystem or a whole project, work without supervision and test his work thoroughly using test cases;
Have proven experience in evaluating theoretical knowledge and practical (on-the-job) skills and the seniority level of candidates and providing actionable feedback and recommendations on positions/projects matching;
Experience in cloud computing;
Understand web protocols (HTTP, TLS etc.);
Familiarity with SQL and/or No-SQL;
Capable to handle high severity issues and troubleshooting experience;
Experience working on production environments & client facing;
Comfortably able to read, write and speak the Customer’s Communication Language; able to write high-quality unambiguous texts;
Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English level (B2/C1).
Nice to have
Experience in Platform as a Service (PaaS);
Familiarity with parallel/distributed computing (NoSQL, Map Reduce, etc.);
Familiarity with modern API technologies.
