Currently we are looking for a Data Analyst for our Saint Petersburg office to make the team even stronger.
Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle;
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions;
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code;
Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming;
Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommend changes in policies and procedures;
Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations;
Protect operations by keeping information confidential;
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues;
Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed;
Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities;
Analyze the system architecture and source code;
Investigate certain piece of functionality and implement/perform tests;
Communicate directly with the customer to identify areas for system tests;
Investigate the existing test scripts and its support.
3-5 years in testing (preferable in data testing related activities;
Intermediate+ SQL level (able to create complicate queries using Joins/Unions);
Intermediate C# or any other OOP/scripting language level;
Experience in Web Service testing (SOAP and Rest) – manual or automated;
Experience in Windows services testing – manual or automated;
Good spoken English and communication skills.
Nice to have
Understanding of Unit testing/NUnit;
Experience working with SISS packages (Creation/Maintain/Execution);
ETL testing experience;
Experience working with MS VS, Fiddler, SVN, Windows Azure.
