Currently we are looking for a Project Manager – Security Area for our Krakow office to make the team even stronger.

Security IT is a group-wide function, which ensures integrated, secure and risk-aware IT operations for our banking client by offering best fit, easy to leverage, reliable and cost effective security services, tools, processes and expertise across all business groups. We are looking for well-rounded Project Managers who will be responsible for delivering the objectives of projects or sub-projects that form an integral part of highly complex project or entire program. This includes responsibility for timely implementation of defined project objectives in line with quality standards and the budget.


  • Deliver the project on time, in the expected quality and within budget according to defined contracts;
  • Perform project change management;
  • Plan, control and report tasks within its project;
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies;
  • Provide the stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the status of committed project deliveries;
  • Provide adequate project documentation;
  • Evaluate the project team in order to support Line Managers in their employee evaluation;
  • Ensure that the project follows standardization according to the Software Development Life; cycle (SDLC) definitions and other standards;
  • Comply with given standards and regulations;
  • Implement the agreed sourcing pattern;
  • Contribute to a positive team spirit;
  • Tasks:
    • Organize and lead the project and the team (i.e. plan and manage allocated resources, shape priorities, coordinate interactions with customers and users and keep the project team focused) on mandate of Program Manager;
    • Manage relationship with all project stakeholders (CIO function, Business, BSM, Interface partners, etc.);
    • Coordinate regularly with the Business Project Lead concerning requirements, project plan and reporting;
    • Ensure an efficient project governance – roles and responsibilities;
    • Provide the project plan and update it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.);
    • Schedule and manage the project according to the project management plan and ensure all relevant project deliveries during all phases;
    • Establish a set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project work products;
    • Ensure all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and perform all relevant reviews;
    • Ensure provision of cost and effort estimation; staff the project by requesting resources, e.g. PMO, BA, DEV;
    • Prepare information and recommendation for choosing the appropriate sourcing pattern.
  • Authorities:
    • Having voting rights in its project's steering committees;
    • Execution, monitoring and controlling the project;
    • Assigning tasks to the project team;
    • Requesting resources (number, skills).


  • Experience in the software development lifecycle, the domain of the application and platform;
  • Experience in project management;
  • Ability to prepare scope estimation; planning, time management, scheduling, project costing, and budget management;
  • Ability to plan and manage resources and procurement;
  • Ability to analyze risks, dependencies, and decision analysis skills;
  • Presentation, communication, and negotiation skills;
  • Leadership and team building capabilities;
  • Conflict resolution, problem solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under stress;
  • Understanding of deliverables based management, a focus on the delivery of customer value, in the form of executing software that meets (or exceeds) the customer's needs.
