The role requires people to work flexibly and on some occasions outside of normal office hours by prior arrangement and agreement and/or during peak periods. The role is based in Budapest. Geographical scope includes EU with focus on UK, Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands.
Provide support for HR managers and HR Business Partners in selected EU locations;
Help maintain effective and engaging communication with employees in the countries supported;
Respond to employees’ questions and queries; help prepare updates and newsletters;
Help maintain up to date HR records and administer changes in various tools and systems;
Collect data and help prepare various reports that support business and HR leaders;
Participate in conducting inductions for new joiners and exit interviews for leavers;
Support the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures, handbooks, guidelines;
Prepare job offers and employment contracts;
Organize events and training sessions.
2-3 years of professional experience as a HR Admin or HR Shared Services or HR transaction role;
Willing and able to learn; flexible, agile, and able to adjust to a changing environment;
Having excellent organisational and time management skills;
Being able to work under time pressure, setting priorities, managing workload and deadlines;
Reliable and responsive. Pay attention to detail;
Having experience in disseminating and collecting information effectively, using a variety of sources;
Being proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel & Outlook);
Knowing the way around the internet and being able to learn new computer software easily;
Having a high standard of written and spoken English. German is a distinct advantage;
Being a careful listener and having good communication skills and the ability to build trust;
Being able to liaise with people at all levels and to build productive, positive relationships;
Willing to work as part of an international, multi-cultural, cross-border team;
Being able to operate successfully in a virtual environment;
Being resilient, resourceful and punctual. Positive, “can-do” attitude is essential;
Being proactive in identifying issues at the earliest opportunity and in responding to potential problems;
Being able to share learning or implement process improvement;
Acting with discretion when supporting activities and handling sensitive data.
