Currently we are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our Zürich office to make the team even stronger.

A digital platform program within a global financial services company aims to enable client advisors and relationship managers to engage with their Wealth Management clients through the new digital channels.

EPAM is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the program utilizing her/his Linux system engineering, coding/scripting and building pipeline maintenance and improvement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, improve and maintain build pipeline for software delivery and automated testing capabilities across several project environments;
  • Deploy software components, schedule and announce environment maintenance activities;
  • Support development teams, L3 support with troubleshooting and integration testing activities, L2 support with troubleshooting and acceptance testing activities;
  • Share operations and delivery pipeline best practices.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the whole software development process (development, building, packaging, verification, maintenance);
  • System administration and virtualization experience (Linux RHEL 7.x, VMware);
  • Scripting / programming experience;
  • Experience working with version control systems (Bash, Python, Git, Bitbucket);
  • Experience in automation tools, focus on automation (Ansible);
  • Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment practice (theory, TeamCity, Docker);
  • Experience working with relational database management systems (Oracle DB) is a plus;
  • Experience in modern web applications built around presentation services;
  • Experience in commonly used security and cryptography solutions, including but not limited to 2F authentication, role-based authorization, TLS, generating and maintaining key store and trust stores;
  • Experience in Hardware Security Modules is a plus;
  • Experience in IT operations, strong focus on business outcomes;
  • BS or higher degree in IT or Telecommunication is a must;
  • Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment;
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders;
  • Fluent spoken and written English, German is a plus.
