We are seeking an Agile Coach to support our Agile Practice in North America. Our ideal candidate will act as the point of contact for clients, prospects, EPAM Account Managers, Business Unit Heads and Sales Leaders. The Agile Coach will observe, train, mentor, and implement agile transformations while building successful relationships and driving business results.
Possess the ability to run a project and manage tasks for a small team with minimal oversight and direction;
Design and develop agile processes and practices for Agile adoption across large enterprise organizations;
Train, mentor, and coach on agile engineering practices;
Design transformation workshops to mirror an agile curriculum developed to drive business results;
Lead customer workshops and presentations of proposed solutions;
Act as a main point of contact for external teams to interface with regarding Agile transformation projects;
Escalate issues and opportunities appropriately to account managers, technical managers, project managers, and senior management;
Spread awareness of new/emerging capabilities and trends in Agile;
Support sales teams when needed as an Agile subject matter expert;
Be responsible for shaping solutions and properly scoping/pricing engagements, establishing optimal operating models and project team organization, and leading the transition from the sales process through the delivery phase;
Provide reliable Level of Effort (LOE) estimates;
Establish and cultivate strong relationships with the clients at senior levels as well as with the key internal stakeholders, BU heads, Solution SME’s, and Sales and Delivery Leaders.
5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach or Agile Transformation Consultant leading Agile transformation within commercial environments;
Technical team leading and team management experience, deep understanding of Agile (Scrum), RUP programming process;
Certification(s) in one or more of the following: SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP);
Participation and engagement in the Agile community including speaking engagements, publications, etc;
Experience in a scaled Agile environment;
Ability to adapt quickly to various customers, environments, processes, and systems;
Agile, Lean, Kanban, Scrum Coach, or Project Management Consulting experience;
Deep understanding of technology service business models; experience in offshore delivery model;
Ability to work independently and provide updates to management;
Excellent problem solving skills; proven teamwork and communication skills;
Fluent spoken and written English;
Technical degree is required (Computer Science or Software Engineering); advanced business degree is preferred;
