Currently we are looking for a Lead Functional Tester for our Guadalajara office to make the team even stronger.
We are seeking a strong Lead Functional Tester with e-commerce experience and a great level of knowledge of formal test design techniques, present status reports to upper management, as well as experience implementing the fundamental test process. The candidate should be able to provide estimations, create and supervise creation of test documentation such as test cases, test plans and test strategies, as well as provide guidance for other less experienced team members.
Supervise creation, modification and execution of test cases;
Coach other team members;
Be a point of contact for daily on-site testing topics and issues.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent;
7+ years as a Functional Tester;
3+ years’ applying formal techniques for analysis and design of test cases;
2+ years’ experience working with e-commerce projects (preferably Hybris, or Oracle ATG, Magento, Demandware or any other e-commerce platform);
Experience working with payment processing systems (CyberSource, Vantiv, Klarna, PayPal, etc.) and/or Tax calculator services;
Experience working with responsive and/or adaptive design websites;
Experience with i18n (internationalization) and l10n (Localization);
1+ year of experience working closely with test automation engineers;
Able to modify documentation already created by other team members (test plans, test strategy, etc.);
Understanding of Agile methodologies;
Expertise in formal techniques to analyze and create test cases;
Experience working as a leader for worldwide teams;
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
ISTQB Foundations Level certification.
