Currently we are looking for a Senior Functional Tester for our Guadalajara office to make the team even stronger.
We are seeking a strong Functional Tester with e-commerce experience and a great level of knowledge of formal test design techniques, as well as experience following and proposing improvements to the fundamental test process. The candidate should be able to create and/or maintain test documentation such as test cases, test plans and test strategies, as well as provide guidance for other less experienced team members.
Creation, modification and execution of test cases;
Coaching other team members;
Point of contact for daily on-site testing topics and issues;
Interacting with the automation team.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent;
4+ years as a Functional Tester;
2+ years’ applying formal techniques for analysis and design of test cases;
1+ year of experience working with e-commerce projects (preferably Hybris, or Oracle ATG, Magento, Demandware or any other e-commerce platform);
Experience working with payment processing systems (CyberSource, Vantiv, Klarna, PayPal, etc.) and/or Tax calculator services;
Experience working with responsive and/or adaptive design websites;
Experience with i18n (internationalization) and l10n (Localization);
Able to modify documentation already created by other team members (test plans, test strategy, etc.);
Understanding of Agile methodologies;
Expertise in formal techniques to analyze and create test cases;
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
ISTQB Foundations Level certification;
1+ year of working closely with test automation engineers.
