Currently we are looking for a Development Team Leader/Solution Architect, C# stack for our Westport, CT office to make the team even stronger.

EPAM’s Financial Services Business Unit is looking for exceptionally talented people to join our team of world class engineers. Our clients are some of the world’s largest and most innovative banks, investment banks and wealth management institutions.

We currently have an opening for a C# Development Team Leader/Solution Architect who is willing to participate in the development of a multi-modular multi-asset classes state-of-the-art Trading System.

Responsibilities

  • Own solution architecture and implementation details;
  • Be responsible for requirements estimation and breakdown into technical tasks;
  • Be responsible for monitoring technical excellence and enforcing technical practices.

Requirements

  • Must-have skills:
    • 3+ years of experience leading a team of 6-10 people;
    • 5+ years of experience in Waterfall and Scrum methodologies;
    • Modern Full Stack .NET/C# development: Front to back-end development;
    • Practical knowledge of design patterns;
    • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture development;
    • Strong knowledge of SQL (T-SQL);
    • Deep understanding of communication protocols, standards, technologies (SOAP, REST, WCF);
    • Deep knowledge of WCF and WinForms/WPF;
    • Demonstrate high standards and ability to write beautiful code;
    • Demonstrate project ownership, not just participation;
    • Excellent understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Software Engineering Process;
    • Good English communication skills (reading, writing and speaking);
    • Open-minded, appreciate direct feedback, and revel in intellectually rigorous environments.
  • Nice-to-have skills:
    • Experience leading off-shore teams;
    • Knowledge of capital markets, structure of exchanges, regulatory framework, Order Management & Execution Management Systems, Trade workflow;
    • Experience in development of Trade & Order systems (Order, Trade, Execution, Reconciliation);
    • Experience with Charles River, Tradeweb and other similar vendor systems;
    • Multi assets (Fixed income, derivatives, swaps, IRS, CDS/X, TRS/X, FX, Futures);
    • FIX, FIXML.
