As a Database Engineer, you will live on the front lines of the products we create, and build features used by millions of people every day.
Our customer is a workers’ compensation provider, one of the largest in an American medical insurance market. The company offers workers' compensation services and products, including diagnostics, dental and doctor, and transportation and language, as well as home health/complex care and equipment and device management services.
The project is being developed in a company subdivision that is offering a sophisticated solution for medical provider benchmarking. Its main features include: provider data aggregation from various sources; highly customizable provider search; provider benchmarking based on user scores; provider benchmarking based on proprietary statistical algorithm; batch document generation and delivery; generation of various complex and customizable reports.
Project technologies and tools
MS SQL 2008 R2/2014;
Database performance tuning;
2+ years of experience in DB Engineering;
Excellent experience in development in a SQL Server environment;
Excellent knowledge of database performance tuning (stored procedures) and Transact-SQL;
Excellent experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems;
High responsibility level is a must;
Good written and spoken English level.
