DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer for our Guadalajara office to make the team even stronger.

We are seeking Automation Engineers experienced in creating frameworks from scratch as well as improve already created frameworks. The candidate must be skilled in Appium automation framework for iOS applications using Java programming language.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new functionalities and improvements for automation frameworks created by customers;
  • Create test scripts following customer’s standards;
  • Perform test automation tool evaluations;
  • Setup test automation environments;
  • Select which of the new features is worthy of inclusion in our automated suite.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • 4+ years’ experience as an Automation Engineer;
  • 2+ years’ working with mobile automation;
  • Strong Java coding skills;
  • Experience redefining already created automation frameworks;
  • Understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented-programming (OOP), frameworks and technologies;
  • High problem solving skills;
  • Expertise in Appium framework;
  • Understanding of QA methodologies and process;
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies;
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

  • 1+ year of experience as a Functional Tester;
  • Understanding of Cucumber tool;
  • Experience working with Selenium WebDriver;
  • Experience in test cases design.
