Delivery Manager

Currently we are looking for a Delivery Manager for our Zürich office to make the team even stronger.


  • Own end-to-end solution delivery on the account(s);
  • Assure governance of the processes in delivery management and production as per selected delivery model;
  • For the top management and client - act as a single point of responsibility over any delivery related matters, including escalations, upsells, ramp downs etc;
  • Be accountable for the technical leadership regarding the delivery. Ensure a sound and future proof architecture is planned and the implementation meets the technical quality standards;
  • Establish and manage long-term partnerships with the client(s);
  • Address client(s) issues, identify and manage engagement risks;
  • Co-ordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work;
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in line with EPAM process and methodologies;
  • Make sure that the customer executes their responsibilities on the engagements;
  • Build up delivery plan along with estimations on timeframes, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects;
  • Establish a strategy of continuous delivery risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout the delivery life cycle;
  • Measure and improve delivery productivity;
  • Help mentoring and coaching other delivery managers;
  • Travel up to 20% might be required.


  • Minimum 10 years’ working experience in IT service delivery domain;
  • Experience in handling complex delivery projects (50+ people) involving distributed delivery teams;
  • Strong experience with Financial Domain (Preferable: KYC Compliance, Compliance control, Anti-Money Laundering);
  • Engineering background in Java, C++ or .NET;
  • Profound experience in onshore, nearshore and offshore outsourcing and delivery models;
  • Expertise in Customer relationship management/Account Management;
  • Experience with technical pre-sales function as required in terms of RFI/RFP preparation;
  • BS or Master’s Degree. Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field;
  • German is a plus.
