Currently we are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer for our Guadalajara office to make the team even stronger.
As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will plan, design, develop, test and execute web applications using top-level and next-generation technologies for scalable platforms and experiences.
We are seeking a developer who takes part in technical decisions with fresh ideas and creativity; improves processes and techniques with experience and leads daily challenges to good term.
Drive new features from inception to production, working across the company with product managers, UX designers and other stakeholders;
Dedicated to delivering tested and optimized high performance code for a distributed SOA environment;
Create and maintain quality software using best-in-class tools: Git, Splunk, New Relic, Sonar and TeamCity;
Work with QA, product management and operations in an agile environment;
Participate in resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions;
Grow a performant production environment in a way that makes the system increasingly reliable;
Be able to showcase your work on our tech blog and internal & external conferences;
Conduct peer code reviews and act as a resource for junior developers;
Leverage user behavior data and A/B testing to better understand our customers, fostering a community of trust to incrementally increase booking conversion rates;
Develop fast, scalable, highly available, and reliable web apps;
Develop features that will drive our business through real-time feedback loops.
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience;
3+ years of experience developing highly available enterprise web applications with state of the art front-end web technologies;
3+ years of experience developing user-facing software;
Excellent communication skills with ability to work well cross-functionally across multiple departments;
HTML, CSS and LESS/SASS experience;
Analytical problem solver that is passionate about delivering high-quality user experience;
Experience with the following technologies we use: Node.js, React.js, Linux;
Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience;
Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques;
Understanding of the principles of accessibility and can build products that are accessible to users with disabilities.
