Lead Visual Designer

Zurich, Switzerland

Striving for excellence is in our DNA. Since 1993, we have been helping the world’s leading companies imagine, design, engineer, and deliver software and digital experiences that change the world. We are more than just specialists, we are experts.

DESCRIPTION

Currently we are looking for a Lead Visual Designer for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.

EPAM is an end-to-end digital technology consultancy that partners with global clients to create ground-breaking products and services. We’re blending design strategy and engineering capabilities to produce game-changing products and services, to our clients across banking, retail, e-commerce, financial services and more.

As a Lead Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the growth and design-output of our studio. You’ll partner with matrix project teams to lead the visual design element on core projects across our client portfolio. Your design flair will be incorporated into service maps, UI for android & IOS, various interfaces and responsive multi-platform sites. This role places a high emphasis on client leadership and stakeholder management through on-site client workshops. You’ll embrace a broad company-wide strategic focus and ultimately solve problems through the application of beautiful design.

Over time we will continue to scale and grow our practice across London, Manchester, Stockholm and Zurich and this will increasingly create opportunities for you to lead and mentor teams over time. The core management component of your role will be influenced by the project at hand. A key part of our management theme is for the design-studio leads to spend time helping to grow less experienced team members. Although the number of designers reporting into you will vary with each project, you will play a core symbolic role as a senior member of the design studio. Success will be influencing the highest standards of design output, encouraging creativity and contributing to the productive utilization of the team.

We have a collaborative and smart environment that is under-pinned by a strong service-design bias. Our team is driven by curiosity and anticipating what the future looks like for our clients. We take a forward-thinking and agile approach that enables us to mock up ideas and share our creative thinking with clients during workshops. You’ll help to facilitate this approach through mentoring, design flair and creativity.
