DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Senior Java Support Engineer for our Guadalajara office to make the team even stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to a middleware application on a 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. shift;
  • Create high quality deliverables;
  • Be self-managed, implement functionality without supervision and test his/her work thoroughly using test cases.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of production software development experience;
  • Proficiency in Java (3+ years);
  • Basic knowledge of Linux;
  • Knowledge of Java Core;
  • Knowledge of Java Spring Core;
  • Experience in Apache CXF;
  • Experience in SOAP/Restful Services development;
  • Knowledge of Maven;
  • Knowledge of Git;
  • Experience with bug/development tracking systems;
  • Understanding of concepts of software development cycle;
  • Follow and understand a defined ITIL/ITSM process, train other team members, and contribute in process improvement;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong ownership and personal responsibility;
  • Team player.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Apache Camel;
  • Experience with Red Hat JBoss Fuse;
  • Upper-Intermediate English level is essential.
