EPAM is currently looking to grow its East Coast Delivery practice, specifically in New York. At EPAM, we consider the Delivery Director position a key to the success of every project that we accomplish. The ideal candidate will be a mix of Solution Architect, Program Manager and people leader. This role will work hand-in-hand with EPAM’s Account Managers and our clients to ensure our services are delivered successfully. The Delivery Director will translate the vision of the work into a comprehensive plan and drive execution, while building a strong relationship with the client.
Partner with Account Managers and be accountable for all aspects of delivery;
Be responsible to run discovery and consulting engagements alongside other EPAM members from Account Managers to Solution Architects to Practice heads;
Provide sales assistance as a technology expert and Pre-sales supervision, coordination and execution;
Perform Technical Architecture and Estimations validation;
Assist in setting up the team and kicking-off the project;
Ensure all aspects of on-going Program and Project Management;
Manage client expectations from deliverables perspective;
Work closely with our Staffing coordination team and resource managers;
Be responsible for People Management - creating and managing career development plans, compensation, etc.
Strong project or program management skills in a highly technical environment;
Additional experience in risks management is a plus;
Highly technical consultant with an engineering or solution architecture background;
Thorough understanding of how to plan, resource, and deliver large-scale technical projects;
Proven experience managing/coordinating portfolio of project;
Experience working in a presales environment from solutioning to client communication;
Experience in kicking off new projects;
Good knowledge of software development lifecycle, methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall) and IT roles;
Excellent verbal and written communication skill;
Good business communication and time management skills.
