Currently we are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer for our Palo Alto, CA office to make the team even stronger.

EPAM is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be working with a group of world-class engineers, architects, and product managers to build a scalable and high-performance breakthrough platform that will be leveraged by our external customers to build paradigm shifting applications and solutions.

You must have a solid understanding of Front-End Web technologies, have a history of building successful web-based solutions, and take mock-ups to implementation. This role requires that you are a self-starter with the ability to deliver on time with quality and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Build pattern libraries for real-time applications, dashboards and tools for both internal and external users;
  • Be responsible for building and owning global style guide for the Front-End team;
  • Collaborate with designers to build responsive framework for all verticals;
  • Build repeatable CMS templates and styling for marketing and documentation websites;
  • Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and contribute creative ideas to improve UI/UX;
  • Work with other engineers, designers, product owners and QA to see projects through, from conception to completion.


  • 5+ years of web Front-End experience;
  • Experience working on CMS, Craft CMS experience is a plus;
  • Experience writing elegant, readable, maintainable HTML and CSS (HTML5 and CSS3);
  • Extensive experience building pattern libraries and responsive websites;
  • Experience in JavaScript, including an understanding of Object-Oriented Programming;
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (such as ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery);
  • Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation;
  • Familiar with Git or other version control systems;
  • Ability to rapidly prototype a tool and iterate effectively;
  • Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Nice to have

  • Experience with server side scripting languages (such as NodeJS, Python, PHP);
  • Experience with strongly typed languages such as Java, C++, C#;
  • Experience with the latest ECMAScript.
