DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Business Analyst for our Krakow office to make the team even stronger.

Our customer is a company working in meteorological domain, delivering forecast globally all over the world. It is focused on new technologies and great look and feel software for multiple sectors of market including transportation, energetic and renewables, trading, air quality. The successful candidate will work as a Product Owner, tightly cooperating with the Product Owner from the customer’s side on one and/or more of web projects.

The Business Analyst will work as a Product Owner in one of EPAM offices – Krakow or Katowice (depending on availability).

Responsibilities

  • Traveling to Germany and Netherlands to synchronize with the Product Owner from the customer’s side;
  • Being open, communicative, pro-active with analytical mind to dig into details of Epics, Stories, Tasks; providing clarifications for both team and customer;
  • Communicating with customer representatives in fluent English (knowledge of German or Dutch will be a plus);
  • Building of good relations with the customer.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a BA/PO;
  • Experience working with Scrum teams and in a Kanban mode;
  • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple locations;
  • Knowledge of weather forecasting domain will be a plus;
  • Very good communication skills using English language. Knowledge of German and Dutch will be a plus;
  • Availability to often business trips to Germany and Netherlands.
