DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Front-end Developer for our Zürich office to make the team even stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design and implement front-end trading risk applications;
  • Be responsible for extending an existing Trading Application in self-controlled iterative manner with a clear functional target but with a need of frequent interaction with several stakeholder on scope and solutions;
  • Work in an agile core IT team side by side with traders and business representatives managing all parts of the Software Development Lifecycle;
  • Participate in regression and acceptance testing, execution of test cases and test cycles for releases;
  • Contribute to the overall evolution of the trading platform, architecture and strategy.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, engineering or economics;
  • 5+ years’ experience in front-office software engineer;
  • Experience in JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, Backbone.js, Node.js, etc;
  • Experience in HTML5/CSS;
  • Java 7;
  • Spring 3/4;
  • Maven;
  • Good skills in writing business and technical documentation;
  • Good understanding of agile methodologies and tools;
  • Excellent understanding of high-performance trading technology from architecture decisions to monitoring solutions;
  • Excellent communicator and ability to work with IT, traders and business analysts alike;
  • Fluent English is required;
  • Fluent German is nice to have;
  • Finance/Banking experience is a plus.
