Currently we are looking for a Senior Java Developer (Media Solutions) for our St. Petersburg office to make the team even stronger.

There are more than 150 engineers involved in EPAM projects in St. Petersburg.

Project technologies and tools

  • Java EE 1.7/1.8;
  • Spring MVC, Apache Tiles, Velocity;
  • REST based Web services;
  • JSON, XML;
  • Servlets, JSP, JMS, JPA, JDBC in some streams;
  • JavaScript and AngularJS.


  • Participate in the full life cycle of software development including analysis, design, implementation and testing of new projects and features;
  • Collaborate with architects and technical leads on design decisions and direction;
  • Proactively adapt to new technologies and changing requirements;
  • Contribute to project development estimates and timelines;
  • Work collaboratively with others in a team-based environment;
  • Investigate and resolve issues in development, test and production environment;
  • Generate innovative approaches and solutions to technology challenges.


  • Experience with Java, object-oriented analysis and design principles;
  • Experience designing and developing web-based applications using Java, Spring MVC;
  • Experience in Web Services, REST, JSON;
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum;
  • Quick learner, eager to leverage new technologies in a dynamic team environment;
  • SQL, Oracle Database;
  • Good spoken English: being able to discuss technical topics.
