Currently we are looking for a Full Stack Java Software Engineer for our Prague office to make the team even stronger.

Our client is an investment bank which provides large corporate, government and institutional clients with a full spectrum of solutions to their strategic advisory, financing and risk management needs.

The team is responsible for developing applications providing business data integration solutions for large-scale payment applications. They are generally written in Java, HTML and utilise MS SQL, Hibernate and Spring.

The candidates will work very closely with London, New York, Prague, Pune teams. They should be able to work independently with multi-tasks and little supervision. In addition, the candidates should be highly motivated and able to deliver with high quality.


  • Develop a major new enhancement to the current applications suite that provides a new event driven user experience. The primary interface is being written in HTML5 (using AngularJS framework) with back-end transaction services provided by Java Web Services;
  • Develop enhancements to existing applications.


  • Strong academic background in computer science or engineering;
  • 2+ years of work experience in a similar position;
  • Strong Java development skills (Java SE, Java EE, JPA, SOAP, REST, Spring, Hibernate);
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design and programming;
  • Proficiency with Maven, TeamCity, SQL, database such MS SQL;
  • Good understanding of design patterns;
  • Experience with version control systems (GIT).

Nice to have

  • Working experience with HTML5;
  • Working experience with AngularJS, JavaScript, Karma, Protractor, Grunt;
  • Working experience with GIT;
  • Working experience with tests automation (xUnit or the like);
  • Servers (such as WebLogic, JBoss or Tomcat);
  • Experience with cloud OpenShift;
  • Experience with TDD, BDD;
  • Experience with testing tools like JMeter, SoapUI, Selenium;
  • Understanding of EJB;
  • Experience with Ant;
  • Experience in integration with legacy systems;
  • Experience in Agile development methods;
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence;
  • Financial experience;
  • Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ Idea or similar IDE;
  • Experience with Nolio or any other similar tools.
