We are seeking functional testers with a great level of knowledge of formal test design techniques as well as experience applying the fundamental test process. The candidate should be able to provide estimations, create test documentation such as test cases, test plans and test strategies, as well as provide guidance for other less experienced team members.
Apply formal techniques to analyze and create test cases;
Create, modify and execute test cases;
Report and follow up of defects found;
Provide support to the test automation team by clarifying questions and/or provide suggestions to improve creation of scripts;
Participate in status meetings.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent;
5+ years of experience working as a Functional Tester;
3+ years of experience applying formal techniques for analysis and design of test cases;
1+ year of experience working closely with test automation engineers;
Able to modify documentation already created by other team members (test plans, test cases, etc.);
High problem solving skills;
Experience providing estimations;
Understanding of QA methodologies and processes (test levels, test types, test process, etc.);
Understanding of Agile methodologies;
Basic concepts related to test automation;
Basic knowledge of Selenium automation tool;
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
ISTQB Foundations Level certification;
Experience redesigning test cases for automation purposes.
