Currently we are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager for our New York, NY office to make the team even stronger.

This position gives you an excellent opportunity to join the world-wide team working on the essential project in retail sphere in Chelsea, NYC, USA.


  • Build Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment software tools that will support, enhance and grow platform’s CI and CD capabilities;
  • Demonstrate very strong technical leadership and people management skills including solid communication and analytical skills with thorough understanding of product development and successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation and resolution;
  • Demonstrate mastery of the intricacies of interactions and dynamics in Agile teams. Demonstrate advanced understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles (e.g., Black belt certified). Guide new team members to adopt Agile, troubleshoot adoption efforts, and guide continuous improvement. Provide training on Lean/Agile. Drive elimination of inefficiencies in coding process. Teach XP practices to others. Actively embrace new methods and practices that increase efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Influence decision making through active partnership with functional and Performance engineering team;
  • Manage strategic business partnerships and relationships through Technical, Financial, Contractual and Relationship management;
  • Own and manage the multiple rapid prototyping and DevOps development budgets;
  • Coach, mentor and lead a diverse group of Lean/Agile software and build/release engineers;
  • Work with technical product owners across the businesses to understand needs and vision; quickly translate that vision into demonstrable prototypes;
  • Work directly with internal customers to understand business and technical needs;
  • Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse;
  • Support process improvements, which guide the development, sustaining and support activities;
  • Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables;
  • Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products;
  • Keep project data relating to tracking and financials current;
  • Deliver resource strategy and plans, including use of 3rd parties/partners, etc., in support of development and support activities;
  • Define product vision. Lay out product roadmap. Map current requirements to industry trends, analyse competition trends;
  • Plan and manage budgets related to scope of team;
  • Communicate effectively both within immediate team and RL leadership. Ensure the team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results.


  • Ability to recognize patterns and complexity in problems. Ability to extracts decomposition algorithms, strategically plan how to execute programs by understanding how best to decompose to expose / protect against risk;
  • Significant experience with: Linux/Unix Operating systems and one or more scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Perl, Python); working with Jenkins (including plugins) or other build automation tools; one or more of the following: GIT, GitHub, SVN; automation and scripting using Chef, Puppet, Jenkins and Bash. Artifact repository solutions such as Artifactory;
  • Experience with architecting/managing solutions on AWS is a MUST in combination with NGINX, Golden Gate, GlusterFS and Palo Alto;
  • Applied experience with modern application technologies and design patterns including Cloud infrastructure, distributed computing, horizontal scaling, and database technologies;
  • Proven success working with and optimizing applications for large scale enterprise performance;
  • Experience tuning the performance of Java applications in virtual environments;
  • Embrace technology trends that drive intelligent automation.
