Currently we are looking for a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer (Java) for our Guadalajara office to make the team even stronger.
We are seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer with advanced experience creating frameworks from scratch for Web applications as well as work on improvements for already created frameworks. The candidate must be skilled in different automation framework approaches and tools using Java programming language.
Create automation frameworks from scratch and/or implement new functionalities for frameworks created by customers;
Create test scripts following customer’s standards;
Perform test automation tool evaluations;
Setup test automation environments.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent;
4+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer;
2+ years of experience working with Java;
1+ year of experience as a Functional Tester;
Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch;
Experience redefining already created automation frameworks;
Understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented-programming (OOP), frameworks and technologies;
High problem solving skills;
Expertise in at least one automation tool for web applications (i.e. Selenium WebDriver, Sikuli, Sahi, etc.);
Understanding of QA methodologies and processes;
Understanding of Agile methodologies;
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
Experience working with Selenium WebDriver;
Experience in test cases design formal techniques;
Experience in Version Controlling systems;
Experience in Continuous Integration.
