Currently we are looking for a QA Specialist for our Saint Petersburg office to enrich the OpenLink Practice with new bright expertise and make the Package Solutions team even stronger.

Our ideal candidate should be well-versed in the financial services domain (commodity trading in particular) and possess top-notch knowledge of and experience in commodity trade processes.

Working closely with subject matter experts and business stakeholders, we take full responsibility for technology side of the projects. Focusing on quality and innovations, we implement industry best practices and frameworks in our work.


Our customer is a global UK-based company, a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest energy corporations, providing efficient integrated solutions in energy and commodity domains.

Project technologies and tools

  • TFS;
  • Gherkin notations;
  • BDD, TDD;
  • C#;
  • Testing tools e.g. SpecFlow, Cucumber, etc.


  • Requirements analysis;
  • Test scenario development for automated testing;
  • Test documentation preparation: test plans, test cases, results reports;
  • Collaboration with the development team and the project manager;
  • Interaction with customer’s employees to provide testing service on all project stages;
  • Mentoring and coaching teams in the creation of manual and automated test cases;
  • Creating test plans/approaches/strategies/test cases.


  • ETRM knowledge (OpenLink Endur);
  • Energy / Commodities trading knowledge;
  • Interpersonal and team-working skills;
  • Solid working knowledge of Agile methodologies and associated test practices;
  • Ability to define test techniques and coverage for testing of requirements;
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills;
  • Ability to track problems to resolution;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of processes and deliverables;
  • Possibility to go on frequent business trips;
  • Financial or commodities trading expertise;
  • ETRM experience, preferably OpenLink Endur;
  • Agile environment (SCRUM/Kanban) experience;
  • Working knowledge of Specification By Example;
  • Experience setting up automated test environments;
  • Test planning experience;
  • Test execution experience;
  • Functional and non-functional testing;
  • Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager experience.
