Currently we are looking for a Software Testing Team Leader/Resource Manager for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.
We are seeking a strong Software Testing Team Leader with resource management experience to drive and lead a project team of 30+ software testing engineers. The role will combine Team Lead, Resource Manager and Project Coordinator roles with little exposure to client, however with highly visibility at EPAM management level.

You offer you the opportunity to level up your expertise in media domain and head the team performing testing of the Video Player and its integration with our customer applications (MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Game Trailers), as well as with third party ad components (Freewheel, Bento), reporting components and integration with social networks (Facebook, Twitter). The application is a complex CMS based on Angular.JS (Protractor + Angular), using Mongo DB as a data storage.

As a Resource Manager:
Hire the right people at the right time;
Organize interviews for Viacom opened positions;
Ensure the successful onboarding and adaptation of newcomers;
Help employees in professional growth and career development;
Ensure a necessary and sufficient level of employees’ professional motivation;
Organize information exchange between employees and units and the entire company;
Help subordinates to solve administrative issues;
Create and optimize necessary working conditions for employees;
Provide effective project staffing upon request of the project heads;
Build an effective organizational and managerial structure in the resource group;
Gather, maintain and expand technological and managerial expertise within resource group;
Track vacations approvals, communicate resources unavailability risks to project management.
As a Team Leader / Project Coordinator:
Provide support for every Stream Lead regarding testing strategy and make sure it is being followed;
Audit each stream on a regular and continues basis, propose improvements;
Meet with offshore Leads from other dev streams working for Viacom and monitor their relationship;
Communicate/escalate issues/risks to project management;
Coordinate and monitor time reporting of the whole team;
Control quality of provided services across QA teams, escalate them to project management;
Communicate global priorities, business goals received from project management to the teams;
Organize and coordinate special testing events (weekend testing, sharing devices, team buildings, etc.);
Escalate all offshore technical/infrastructure issues/outages in a timely manner and help get them fixed;
Perform weekly status reporting to project management & weekly meeting with TLs of other teams.
8+ years of experience in software testing (it can be both functional testing experience and test automation experience);
4+ years of leading a medium size group (up to 20 people);
2+ years of experience as a resource manager for 20+ people;
Strong understanding of project deliverables;
Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology, QA process, and software release cycle;
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communications skills;
Ability to work with aggressive deadlines;
Good spoken English and experience in working directly with the client;
Experience in online social network platforms and mobile testing techniques.
