DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Solution Architect (Back-end) for our Amsterdam office to make our team even stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of back-end video metadata content management system;
  • Development of technical architecture of new requirements for ESM & CMS;
  • Perform profiling, troubleshooting of existing solutions;
  • Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture;
  • Document architecture approach and technical requirements including integration with back-end systems;
  • Work on POCs and continuous technical improvements;
  • Lead engineering excellence (EngX) initiative on all Client projects;
  • Create prototypes and architecture for new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
  • 5+ years' experience building internet applications, with a solid background in web architecture;
  • 5+ years' experience planning/estimating projects and leading teams;
  • Strong understanding of web development principles, and the ability to develop simple solutions to complex problems;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and possess efficient problem solving skills;
  • Experience with Adobe AEM (Day CQ) (other CMS systems), JBoss Fuse (other ESB implementations), Semantic Web Technologies & Apache Spark;
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Proven leadership abilities;
  • High proficiency in Java, ESB and Design Patterns.
